We at Ketto is looking for a Corporate Fundraiser to lead the Development of Corporate Fundraising initiatives of Ketto.

Over-view of the Position:

The position is based at Andheri West, Mumbai. The Corporate Fundraising Head will work with the CEO and CTO to develop and manage relationship with Corporates, Schools, Colleges and Events.

Roles & Responsibilities

The position will be responsible to:

    A. Strategic Support:

  • Analyze, implement and monitor new growth potentials by introducing new fundraising channels, up scaling existing activities and introducing innovative activities for fundraising.
  • Proactively network and collaborate with wide range of stakeholders with key focus on corporate entities, partner NGO’s and communities to build relevant partnership and enhance opportunities.
  • Develop partnerships and strategic engagements with corporate entities across different parts of the country and sectors including CSR Funding, Co-branding, payroll giving etc.

    B. Fundraising and Business Development:

  • Lead generation by pitching new companies to secure long term corporate partnership by generating innovative proposals and integrating fundraising and awareness-raising packages.
  • To manage, expand and develop existing sponsorship and commercial partnerships and to initiate new and lucrative contracts with industry to actively increase levels of corporate income and effectively achieve set targets by the management.
  • Identify new sources of support through networking, pitches and social media, and build relationships with new businesses and other sources.
  • Support Companies in fundraising ideas, providing help with branding, as well as encouraging them to participate in events.
  • Be innovative in ideas for new and perhaps unusual ways of raising funds and acquiring sponsorship deals, following these through to completion.

    C. Corporate Outreach

  • Work with the CEO in order to represent Ketto Activities with Corporate Donors.
  • Reach out to potential companies and ensure adequate follow-ups.
  • Develop project proposals, concept notes etc.
  • Conceptualize, plan and execute fundraising events.

    D. Client Servicing:

  • Manage relationship with current and new corporate partners.
  • Gain appreciation of partner’s reporting needs on a continuing basis and ensure timely reporting and due diligence as per their expectations.
  • Manage updation of the internal management system and ensure that all prospective and current corporate partner details are accurately recorded in the database.
  • Undertake monitoring and evaluation of fundraising activities and achievements related to agreed targets and cost/income ratio.
  • Liaise with Monitoring & Evaluation team and third party impact evaluation agencies to ensure smooth evaluation of the program.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate /Post graduate in business management, social sciences or development studies.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in fundraising from Corporates, business development, writing proposals, grant applications preferably in an NGO.
  • Hands on experience of the broad selling process to Corporates, high net worth individuals (HNIs) or Key Account is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience at networking, negotiation and selling skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to work with people from varied backgrounds & levels.
  • Strong communications skills and proficient in written English.

We are looking at young and Dynamic Self Starter individuals who will be a part of our Business Development Team.

Purpose of the Role:

The person will be responsible for on-boarding and managing of campaigns along with managing new and existing partnerships.

Roles & Responsibility

  • Play an active role to support Business Development Function to ensure the growth of the Start up.
  • On board new NGO's/Corporates/Social Enterprises and help them to create campaigns and identify attractive programs for Fund Raising.
  • Set-up partnership for Online and Offline Events.
  • Identify and get in touch with the potential partners and campaigners.
  • Cold Calling to the potential prospect and thereby generate leads for the same.
  • Identify and give presentation to the existing and new customers.
  • Conduct research, surveys , on-site visit and do competitive analysis.
  • Participate in efforts to increase the number of campaign creators.
  • Organize and attend meetings with NGO’s /Non-Profits/Corporates/Social Enterprise to provide guidance to make campaign successful.
  • Handle external and internal communications and facilitate legal and licensing agreements with partners as needed.
  • Relationship building with the NGO's on board and new NGO's.
  • Retention of the NGO's.
  • Client Servicing.

The candidate will act as an Account Manager/Campaign Manager to the respective NGO’s assigned to them. The candidate will guide the NGO throughout their Fundariasing Campaign starting from building campaign for them till the amount received to the NGO’s after completion of the Campaign.

An ideal candidate should have

  • Min 1-2 years of work experience in Sales preferably social Sector into Fundraising.
  • Candidate should be self driven and have the ability to deliver numbers.
  • Have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
  • Have good presentation skills and be able to convince potential clients.
  • Graduate of any discipline. Preferable MBA or MA in Social Entrepreneurship/Social Work.
  • Prior working in Social Sector as Fundraising Manager will be preferable.
  • Strong written and oral skills.
  • Ability to research on campaigns and work under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding and experience in campaigning through internet mobilization, emails, engagement driven activities etc.
  • An aptitude to work with a technology driven set up with a deep understanding of contributor/campaigner analytics.

    A. Identification:

  • Main Client group, audiences and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them.
  • Designate an appropriate spokesperson or information source for media queries.

    B. Planning and Developing:

  • Planning, Developing and Implementing PR Strategies, goals, budget and tactics.
  • Develop and Implement Strategic PR programs/activities to achieve significant increase in brand awareness.
  • Develop Media Relations Strategy, seeking high level placements in prints, broadcast and online media.
  • Develop and maintain company's corporate image and identity which includes the use of logos and signage.
  • Manage Communication Budget.

    C. Writing:

  • Write interesting and effective press releases.
  • Prepare information for media kits and develop and maintain company internet and intranet web pages.
  • Researching, writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports.
  • Create Content regularly to grow company's footprint (press releases, corporate announcements and creative content)

    D. Other Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all Public Relations Activities.
  • Organizing promotional Events such as Press Conferences, Open Days, Exhibition or other activities the firm supports in order to gain public attention through media without advertising directly.
  • Draft speeches for company executives and arrange interviews and other forms of contact for them.
  • Leveraging existing Media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
