To facilitate participation in final round of NIBC 2020 in Vancouver

Greetings,

National Investment Banking Competition (NIBC) organized by Corporate Finance Institute (CFI), is a globally acclaimed case competition that brings together students from over 100 prestigious universities, Stanford, Yale, MIT Sloan, Oxford, UC Berkely to name a few.Parallel to the competition is the opportunity to network with investment banking professionals to develop our technical skills.

The finalists have been selected through a rigorous investment banking case solving, spanning over 5 weeks.

40 teams have been invited to compete in the Final Round in Vancouver from March 10-13th, only 20 percent of which are undergraduate teams. 

We are pleased to inform that our team Bullish Bears, comprising of four students, after diligent efforts, has been successfully shortlisted for the final round of NIBC.

Attending this competition is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us that will help us develop a global network with esteemed professionals in the field. It will also give us a chance to proudly represent not only our BITSian community but also India as the first UG Indian team to ever get invited to the final round in the history of the competition. 

We are hereby asking for your financial support to help with the participation expense of the competition, as none of us would be able to bear them. The breakdown is as follows:

Future Costs (for 4 team-members):

Slot confirmation cost : 8,400 x 4 = 34,400/- (~120$ per person)

Round trip cost to Vancouver, Canada* : ~Rs.90,000 x 4 = Rs.3,60,000/-

Visa cost : ~Rs.9,600 x 4 = Rs.38,400

Past Costs:

Team registration fees : Rs.12,780 ($180)

First Round submission cost : Rs.2,840 ($40)
