About Breast Cancer 

Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), also referred to in America as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM), is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast
cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.

In India, we are now witnessing more and more number of patients being diagnosed with breast cancer to be in the younger age groups (in their thirties and forties).

The blue colour represents the incidence 25 years back, and maroon colour represents the situation today.

Established in 1969, CPAA has a tradition of untiring service to needy cancer patients from all over India, and even neighbouring Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Pakistan. They do this by creating or participating in events of their choice.
