Jagriti Yatra Residential Program

Hi! From  24th December 2017 to 8th January 2018 I went on a trip all across India to study successful social enterprises like Aravind Eye Care (Madurai), Akshay Patra (Vizag), Goonj (Delhi), Sabarmati Ashram (Ahmedabad), Barefoot college (Tilonia) to name a few. It was with this organisation called Jagriti Yatra (http://www.jagritiyatra.com/). It was an eye-opening trip to see a very different side of India in Tier 2 Tier 3 cities, understand the problems of the people. 

During the trip we had a project to ideate on a business idea for a tier 3 city/town which would have a social cause at the center. The idea that my friends and I want to implement is called AnUrja and we plan to reduce the air pollution problem in northen india caused due to burning of crop waste by the farmers.

For the same I am raising funds to travel to Barpar (UP) and IIT Kanpur for an incubation camp by Jagriti Yatra and am need of funds for travel. I appeal to my supporters to help me in making this dream come true. I want to see this idea become a reality. The camp will be held from 4th March to 17th March, first week in Barpar to collect data and gain more clarity on the venture idea and the second week, my friends and I will be mentored in IIT Kanpur incubation cell.
