Support my efforts to raise funds for Habitat For Humanity, India
Hey everyone!
I’m Nihal Gamangatti from Canadian International School Bangalore. I’m raising funds to create awareness on the importance of personal hygiene and hand wash as part of daily routine by reaching out to 1000 families in marginalized communities in Tippu Nagar who cannot defend themselves against COVID-19. I need you like they need us. No amount is too small, and please share :)
About the initiative:
The outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus) has caused a global health emergency. The total number of reported COVID-19 cases in India has been rising each and every day. In such unexpected situations, Habitat for Humanity, India has joined hands with local District level authorities to spread awareness. Habitat has leveraged local office and implementation partners to distribute "Hygiene Kits" to promote the use of soap/sanitisers/ floor disinfectants to help keep hands and surroundings clean. To have more impact, they are distributing "Family Essentials Kits" to further support their daily needs whose source of income has been affected severely by the epidemic.
