Before Knowing about WCF meet SRI SRI RAVI SHANKAR
What is World Culture Festival 2016?
The World Culture Festival 2016 is a celebration of The Art of Living’s 35 years of service to humanity. The festival will bring together people from different cultures, nations and faiths as a one world family in a resounding message of peace.
Founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the Art of Living with a presence in 155 countries across the globe is engaged in diverse humanitarian and service activities. True to its motto of a One World Family (Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) and of making Life a Celebration, a series of events is being planned to bring together people of talent, eminence and repute.
A unique platform will be created for spiritual and religious leaders, politicians, peacemakers and artists to spread the message of global peace and harmony in diversity.
Showcasing the rich cultural traditions of dance, music and the arts from around the world as well as Yoga, the Festival hopes to foster a deeper understanding between people of different faiths, nationalities and backgrounds. http://www.artofliving.org/in-en/world-culture-festival
