A film on the destiny of a parentless girl child

 I am Jitender Singh, a film producer based in Mumbai, want to raise fund for my film project "Kutty". which is written and to be directed by Tabun Sutradhar. The reason I want to raise fund from crowdfunding is ;

The conventional film funders are hesitant to fund us because they don't understand the creative content and hard work, they only understand who are the stars acting in it . They are reluctant to accept the fact that the time has changed now, toady content is everything. Many films with big start-cast but poor content failing.

This particular subject is totally based on a parentless 6/7 year old girl and her destiny in this heartless cruel city of Mumbai, I have attached the synopsis of the story.

This project does not need any superstar. we need Just finest actors. I have tried with NFDC also, But you know how the government offices function, Its almost 1 year now I am following them up inspite of having friends working there.

This subject is very close to our hearts and the whole shooting is in Mumbai. I will attach the budget sheet and the possible revenue collection from digital market. I want to be very true to you to say that as it is small budget movie, the chance of theatre release is very less, we will have OTT release like on Netflix, Amazon , Hot-star etc. 

And yes this film will be submitted to all the major international film festivals. We will put our best efforts to make a beautiful heart touching film, and if the project receives appreciation from there, then their are a lot of revenue streams. 

We will try to submit the film for nomination of national award too.

"KUTTY"

Synopsis

Kutty a 4 year old parentless girl leaves in a very small village of Hyderabad with her grand mother Janki. She has a small puppy dog and all the time she plays and sleeps with the dog.

They are very poor, So Janki decides to migrate to Mumbai so that she can earn some money by doing household work and take care of Kutty.

They board the train for Mumbai having no choice but leaving the dog alone in the village. Kutty was very upset about it but Janki somehow manages her showing the outside scenarios from the train windows.

In the night Kutty wakes up from aleep for water and pushes Janki to wake up but Janki never wakes up. She got very scared and goes to other passengers and tries to wake them up. In this process she does not realize how far she reached , When she comes back the train is stopped in a station, railway doctor, authorities take Janki's body out .

Kutty never get a chance to come closer. She cries profusely .

The train stars again and stops at CST station in the early morning.

All passengers get down after sometime Kutty also gets down surprisingly at looking every everything. This is a completely new and unknown place for her.

She comes out and stand very close to a Badapaw vendor looking at the food.

The Vendor notices that and calls Kutty to come near. He gives her to eat. When Kutty is having the food he goes little aside and call a person call Gani.

Within short time Gani comes in a scooter and pays the Barapaw vendor 10,000 cash.

and takes Kutty to his home at Dharavihi Chawl. Gani takes care of Kutty nicely gives her food, chocolate etc. and shows her his mezzanine area to sleep.

Next morning Gani takes her on his scooter and drops her to a perticular loacation of a street corner and makes her seat and beg. Kutty cries but is helpless because she does not know anyone else without Gani. Gani

leavse her and goes.

When Gani was making her seat on the street one motor byke passed them and stopped at a little distance. The rider of the byke takes out his sunglasses and takes a photo from his mobile phone.

When Gani returns in the evening he was surprised and very happy to see they booty she received in a day. Kutty is crying. But Gani buys her ice cream to make her comfortable.

In the night Gani receives a call from Abbas bhai , a goon who's business is to buy stolen children and cut their limbs and put then to begging. The motor byke rider was his person.

Abbas bhai tells Gani he knows that Gani got a beatiful small girl. Asks to handover her to him , Hewill pay you 500000. Gani requests Abbas to let him think about it.

Next morning Gani looks very serious and ask Kutty to sit on the scooter. While he was driving the scooter he again receives call from Abbas bhai. Abbas is even ready to pay 2lakhs for the girl. Gani does not reply. at the same time they pass an Ice cream stall and Kutty pushes and ask Gani to buy her Ice cream. The phone is still on. Gani stops the scooter and buys ice cream and gives it to Kutty.

and talks to Abbas boldly that he cannot do it.

Being scared that Abbas might find Kutty and take her when he is away. Gani Makes her seat today in a deferent location and warns Kutty that she should not go with any unknow person and then goes away .

A black Mercedes Benz car driven by a white dressed driver stops on the road just little far from where Kutty is sitting. A young Smart girl comes out with a small cute expensive dog with a light chain in her hand. The dog and the girl walk pass Kutty.

while they are passing by, the dog looks at kutty and Kutty also smiles and waves at the dog. The dog also turned back many time and interacted with kutty.

After sometime the girl receives a call from his boyfriend and the girl had a very hotted argument and the girl became very much engaged with it. She does not even realizes when the dog sleeps out and goes way.

The dog after being free from the girl takes turn on street corner and comes to Kutty.

Kutty hugs the dog and eventually in a very short time they became friends.

Now the Girl with the driver searches for the dog in tension that they will loose their job, comes to the corner and look for the dog.

The dog after seeing the girl and driver hides behind Kutty. They come closer , but by the time Kutty has hidden the dog inside her bag. After not finding the dog they go away.

Kutty now easily play with the dog and teaches it to shake hand and stand and sit etc. in no time. Kutty take the dog in her bag and brings her home without the knowledge of Gani.

From here the story is about how this little dog changes Kutty's life and Kutty overcomes all the trouble of being serounded by these criminals and becomes adopted by the richest Lady of the town.
