Yogeshwaran's Fundraiser for ActionAid India

Dear Friends,

My name is Yogeshwaran and I am running this crowdfunding campaign on behalf of ActionAid India, an organisation that I have been volunteering as part of Activate.

According to an assessment by Forbes India, the situation in Assam is dire, with more than 56 lacs affected, 110 dead and multiple villages in more than 30 districts being submerged. 

More than 92% of the Kaziranga National Park is still inundated with floods. In such a situation, along with the help of donors, ActionAid India has been able to reach out to the flood victims with relief and decontamination work.

The organization as of now has reached out to more than 800 households in 10 villages and is also widely supported by celebrities and major foundations. 

With your contribution, we can reach out to more people and help the flood victims with aid and relief which is the need of the hour. 

During the last 3 months, Activate Online, an online community of volunteers have joined hands to amplify the on-ground work that the organisation is doing and is actively working towards the causes that we stand for.
