Join Aditya Sircar to support Indian Development Foundation in the Project Dignity - Menstrual Awareness & Kit Fundraiser

Dear Friends,

I, Aditya Sircar, am raising funds to support the Indian Development Foundation in their Project Dignity: Menstrual Awareness and Kit.

Indian Development Foundation under its Project Dignity has been providing complete Menstrual Hygiene Management by distributing menstrual hygiene kits to adolescent girls/ women in urban slums and rural areas from 2014. Under this project, we supply a year long health kit (sanitary pads/ undergarments/ soaps/ towel/ mask) to a large number of needy girls/ women in India. Dignity kits were a boon and blessing to girls and women who were deprived of the basics during the pandemic.

Team IDF reached out to different parts of India during the pandemic and distributed Dignity Kits with masks. This project is in action from 2014 and we have reached out to 100,000 girls/women by way of dignity kits and awareness.  The ‘Dignity Kit’ consists of 96 sanitary pads for a year, 4 undergarments, 2 soap, 1 hand-towel  and a cloth bag. Our Mission is to reach out to 1 million girls/women. 

 Key Elements of The Dignity Project :

1. Empowering girls by disseminating factual information, raising awareness and addressing stigma and misunderstanding through volunteers, doctors and nurses in Bal Gurukuls/Schools.

2. Facilitate / Provide Low cost sanitary pads to girls/women.

3. Waste Disposal Management.
