Be a step in Shah Faisal's MBA journey.

My name is Shah Faisal Shaikh and I reside in the slums of Mankhurd, Mumbai. My father passed away when I was 13 years old. Since then, we have had a hard time making our ends meet. My mother knew and believed, that the only way to attain a good life is by pursuing an education. With the rent of our house's upper room and some relatives' help, my mother never compromised on our education. I have always been dedicated and determined in my studies and have given several entrance examinations. Scored well in each exam but had to give up as financial problem has always been a barrier in acquiring studies that demand a high amount. It was my mother’s support that kept the faith ignited within me.

Keeping my financial situation in mind, completed the SSC and HSC examinations from Padua High School and Guru Nanak Khalsa College with 79.60% and 58.77% respectively. I pursued BSC in Physics. I completed my graduation in the same from Guru Nanak Khalsa College with a CGPA of 8.84. While preparing for my final exams, I was simultaneously preparing for the entrance examination IMUCET for MBA. With consistent efforts and hard work, I secured an MBA overall rank of 107 among 5000 students. Among 4 IMU campuses in India, I secured Admission to the first best Chennai campus in the MBA program in International Transportation and Logistics Management.

The programme fee of Rs 25,000/- has been paid by my mother by borrowing it as a loan in order to confirm the seat allotment. Total Fees for both the Academic Year is Rs 4,00,000/-

The bank has declined the request for a loan as nobody earns in my family. I’ve approached many charitable trusts for help but nobody showed a positive response. I am just one step away to reach my destination but the financial situation is pushing me hard to give up I don’t want to and I don’t intend to, at this point.

The world sure does not revolve around money, but it certainly makes the world go round. Just like how you need not keep family by your side every hour, but you need them to live well. And I want to be the change. But it’s certainly not possible without your help. Even a small contribution from your side will result in great help.
