King Edward Memorial Hospital, one of India's oldest and finest medical facilities, is considered by many as the ultimate solution to all medical problems.Today even as COVID-19 threatens the very fabric of civilisation, KEMH stands tall amidst the mountain of rising cases in a city which has now become India's epicenter for this ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic. Team KEMH with about 390 Doctors and a little over 500 residents are 24*7 engaged in this humongous task of treating more than 1.8 million patients every year and the mighty Corona virus has only added to this imbalance. Inspite of each and every healthcare worker at such hospitals being required to work at max capacity, we all know it in our hearts - It just won't be enough.
