Fundraiser Ended! This fundraiser ended on July 31, 2023
Hello everyone,
In my early childhood, I was trained by my grandfather at mixing the right amount of water with clay to make robust and lasting pots and the Deities' statues to sell in the town market. That was our livelihood.
My name is Princy Prajapati, and I am a 31-year-old woman from an underprivileged community in India. My family has traditionally made and sold clay pots for a living, but I went on to be the first person in my family to pursue college education. I have a Master's degree from MMMUT Gorakhpur and have been working on mixing the right amount of technology, leadership and policies for a robust country with lasting values.
I am accepted into the Master in Development Practice program at the University of California Berkeley. This program aligns with my passion for economic development of the country and strengthening of our institutions and citizens, and I believe it will especially help me make a positive impact for the people living in poverty and experiencing hardships. However, the program's cost is around Rs. 1.4 crore ($160,000), and I can only arrange, with personal and bank loans, up to around Rs 78 lacs ($95,000). I have to join the program in August and I urgently need to arrange another Rs 25 lacs and I am banking on your support.
I am reaching out to you for your help. Any contribution you can make will help me pursue this program and achieve my goals. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and am committed to making a difference in the future of my country. Please help so that I could be part of the larger mission of this country and its people.
Thank you for your support.
Princy Prajapati
