Help Us Realize Our Film Making Dream

When a child goes missing, not only the family but whole society and in a way a nation suffers the loss. According to various reports, in India alone thousands of children reported missing every year without a trace (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child_trafficking_in_India). Many of these children are abducted for ransom, many are trafficked for sex purposes and many for bonded labour. Those who are not traced, families search for them all through their lives. The emotional and psychological cost of search over burdens a society. Many of these missing children can be traced and saved. As a journalist and film maker, I am overwhelmed by the plight of the families who suffer such losses and it makes me in pain thinking what sufferings these innocent children may be going thrught for no fault of theirs. At times families keep the missing members detail secret from other younger members of the family so they live their lives peacefully. These children are just caught in that unfortunate time and space. So, I decided not to sit back and watch silently; but to do something that help save these children and reduce the burden from society. Film is a great medium to communicate stories. Film not only educate but have lasting impact on masses for decades. So I choose to make a fiction film on such a topic. I believe, while my romantic suspense thriller film will entertain masses, it will help save thousand of children indirectly. But I can not do it all alone. I want you to be part of it. Help me to support the cause. I am seeking your financial support to implement my thoughts into action for the good of the society.  A film making requires lot of money in pre-production, production and post production work. About 100 people are likely to be part of  my film in the form of cast and crew, support staff. We have to hire properties, travel and need to stay outdoors. No work can be performed without food. A film making requires huge set up of equipment besides camera. The post production involves editing and visual motion graphics. Once we release it, promotion of film becomes equally important. So, all these things require support of all. I am hopeful that you will support my cause, which looks personal but it is by and large for the society and the nation. Jaihind!
