Help Build a School for Rural Rajasthan, India.

I am Rahul Dubey , brought up in various cities of India. 4 years ago I came on a rural internship of 3 weeks in Karawara village of Kherwara block and then never turned back to the city life. I was baffled to see the status of education in the remote villages of India. After completion of my internship, I decided to stay back in the village and work on the challenges and issues that are hindrances to the quality education for the marginalized children living in these backward regions.

 I along with the local organization ALFA Educational Society which is a grassroots level youth based organization, took an initiative and opened a school in July 2016, the “Village Spirit Academy,” seeking to bring quality education to every child in our village. The school is a primary school up to 5th grade, with currently 5 teachers engaged in the school. We aim to build the school on the foundation of creative learning- teaching children through games and fun activities.

The school has grown rapidly as many parents are excited to enroll their children here, and we have an achievement of 105 students studying currently.

We love what we are doing, but we need your help!

Though we have started the school in a small rented house in our village, we still need a proper school building. ALFA has been gifted a large portion of land in the same village but lacks the funds to construct a building for the school.

We have started this campaign to ask for some financial support for our school. If you can’t donate, please spread the word and make this dream of having a school for these underprivileged children into reality! Every hand is needed for help!

The quoted total cost for construction is Rs. 3,50,000

The money donated will be utilized in the construction of school's building which includes 5 classrooms, a playground with some equipment and toilets.
