Help Prabhat in returning home to his wife and teenage children.

Prabhat Ch. Raman’s wife sits silently in the hospital. Her face is filled with worries for her husband and family. For the past two months, she has been going in and out of hospitals with her husband, hoping to put an end to his suffering and bring him back home in good health.
 
Two months ago, Prabhat was diagnosed with pancreatitis, and since then, it has been a long battle. It all started with stomach pain that showed no signs of healing. After finding no relief, he decided to visit the hospital, where, to his shock, he was said to suffer from pancreatitis. Multiple hospital visits, tests, and treatments have given him no relief, and his condition has only worsened. Initially, he was admitted to Apollo Hospital, Kolkata, under the expert care of Dr. Mahesh Goenka, from December 21, 2022, to February 5, 2023. However, due to the severity of his condition, he had to be transferred to the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad for further treatment.

He is currently undergoing treatment at AIG Hospital, and doctors have recommended a surgical approach that will cost nearly Rs. 15,00,000/-. So far, his family has managed to pay bills totaling Rs. 40,00,000/-, but now they have nothing left. With no health insurance coverage, they have no other means of raising such a large sum. Due to his weakening situation, he has now been moved to a mechanical ventilator and will be required to have a long stay in the ICU. This may lead to additional expenditures.

Prabhat had been the sole breadwinner in his family. With all the medical expenses, they are down to their last penny. His two children (a son, 16, and a daughter, 13), are anxious to have their father back home. With great difficulty, they are making ends meet, but their only hope is their father. All their thoughts are on him; every day they hope to hear the good news of his recovery. Knowing they are in a financial crunch but unable to do anything, they are greatly distressed. 

Their last resort has been to set up this fundraiser to raise the required amount for his treatment.
