Help Bihar - Masks for Healthcare professionals

Here is the problem : -

Just spoke with a friend back home (Darbhanga Bihar) and shocked to know that the primary healthcare hospitals doesn't even have basic critical items like Masks, sanitisers or gloves for the doctors there.

No doubt we have a very weak health infra in Bihar, while the government is trying to do their best, there is still very shortage of masks, gowns, gloves and other critical supplies to protect our medical professionals in hospitals as well as huge number of poor patients who come there. 

If a member of hospital staff catches the virus, their health is at serious risk, and they cannot work for at least 14 days. That’s a major problem. 

Our doctors, nurses and hospital staff are the real action heroes of this crisis. We have an opportunity and a responsibility to provide them with personal protective equipment right now to keep them safe as they fight this virus

Here is what I am doing from my side : -

• 1000 surgical masks
• 500 hand sanitisers
• 500 surgical gloves
• 100 thermometers
• 100 soaps

But we need to do more.

This is just one of the dozens health care centres with no supply of Masks and other critical protective equipments for doctors / patients.

Fortunately, masks, gowns and equipment are cheap. Unfortunately, buying them isn’t free.

How can you help?

If you’re a business owner and you have the means to take action, make a large tax-deductible donation.

One of the most important things we can do is protect our frontline responders. We need to protect them so they can protect our family & loved ones back home.

This fund is managed personally by me & executed by volunteers I personally know back home.

The funds are used to buy the critical supplies mentioned and will be supplied to the Primary Health Centres (PHC) to distribute amount doctors and patients as needed.
