Fundraiser Ended! This fundraiser ended on March 1, 2022
Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, the closure of food stalls and fewer people are making stray dogs and cats hard to find enough food/water. Due to the winter season in Mumbai, stray animals find it difficult to keep warm. As a result, some stray dogs and cats have died and others are left shivering and suffering. Around 6.2 crore stray dogs and 91 lakh street cats are left with no help in India. We want to try and help each of them. We need your help in raising funds to eliminate the suffering of these stray dogs and cats. 100% of the fundings will proceed to the cause. One meal for one stray dog/cat costs 50 rupees only. We will also vaccinate the animals so they avoid catching rabies which is an incurable virus. This will also make stray dogs safer for pedestrians. After the funds are collected, a list will be sent as to how the proceedings were used along with bills via email to all the contributors.
If you cannot donate -
Remember to carry a small pack of parle-g glucose biscuits(costs 10 rupees) when you go out of your house. You can help if and when you find a stray animal. You can also keep a water bowl outside your building or house so dogs and cats can drink from it. For more information please visit our Instagram or Facebook page.
For more information on the vaccine -
