Hello everyone,
I am Swetha, and this is a fundraiser I have set up for my father, Kannan K, who is battling for his life after suffering a major heart attack and septic shock that has led to multiple organ failure. He is currently undergoing intensive treatment at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bangalore, and has been shifted to another hospital for special sepsis care.
Just 15 days ago, our lives took a devastating turn. My father suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a severe heart attack. Soon after this, he developed sepsis, which is a life-threatening infection that quickly spread and began shutting down his vital organs. It was a nightmare we never saw coming.
We are a small family of four, with only one earning member, and my father’s sudden illness has left us emotionally shattered and financially burdened. We are struggling to pay for the multiple medical treatments, and it is becoming impossible for us to pay the medical bills.
The cost of treatment is between Rs. 7 and 8 lakhs, covering cardiac care, intensive monitoring, life-saving medications, and special fluids and antibiotics required to combat sepsis. So far, we have spent Rs. 90,000, using all our savings and taking help from friends and relatives. But we are still Rs. 8 lakhs short of what is urgently needed to continue his treatment. There is no way we can afford to pay these bills by ourselves, and we have nowhere to go but to approach crowdfunding.
With a humble heart, I am appealing to you to help my family in this desperate situation. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way towards easing the financial burden that we are currently facing. Your donations will help pay for his ongoing treatment, which is critical for his recovery.
Please forward and donate generously to this medical fundraising campaign. Share this campaign with others as well; we will be able to reach our goal sooner. Your kindness and generosity will save a life, but not my whole family. All we pray is for his healthy return home.
Thank you for your timely support and kindness. We are grateful for your help. Please pray and send good wishes to my father.
