My Mother Has Tuberculosis In The Bones And It's Killing Her. Please Save Her

I am a college student from Kolkata, struggling to financially support my family with a low-income job. My mother Ranjima Goswami is suffering from Tubercular Lumbar Spine and Extradural Compression of the Thecal Sac. She is in excruciating pain and needs to get treatment urgently.

In 2014, my mother had undergone C3 C5 Copectomy surgery, where they removed part of her vertebral body, and Cage-Plate FIxation using GESCO expandable cervical cage. It was a painful procedure and drained us both emotionally and financially. 

Ever since the surgery, she had been taking good care of herself but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. Her immunity was compromised when she first fell sick and she never fully recovered from Bone Tuberculosis. Her present medical condition is due to a complication of this disease. The doctor has advised her to undergo surgery urgently for the treatment of the same.

If there is any delay in her surgery, we will lose her. We need Rs 5 Lakh more to save her life but unfortunately, we do not have the money to pay for it. I have seen my mother suffer for the last 6 years and I cannot do anything to help ease her pain. I feel helpless. Please find it in your heart to donate however much you can to save my mother’s life. Every bit counts.
