My Son Is Suffering From Hydrocephalus. We Need Your Help To Provide For His Treatment

My name is Chittaranjan Behera and I am raising funds for my son, Lalit Kumar Behera who is suffering from Hydrocephalus right from Birth.

He underwent a major brain shunt surgery when he was just 2 days old (A pipe was inserted from his brain to abdomen as remediation) at Bethany Hospital, Thane.

At 3.5 years age, he went through the same procedure for brain shunt replacement on 29-Jun-2016, at Wadia Hospital, Mumbai.

He is 8 years of age now and he is usually having frequent seizures and some times he needs to be admitted into ICU and recently he was admitted into ICU for 30 min long seizure. He is being treated for frequent seizures from there on at KIMS Hospital, Bhubaneswar.

He is also undergoing a daily therapy at Institute of Health Sciences Bhubaneswar along with his regular medication, which amounts to almost Rupees 50,000/- per month.

He needs to undergo stem cell therapy for at least 2 to 3 times and a single procedure is almost Rupees 5 lakhs. Shunt replacement also been advised in the near future.

The family has done all till date to collect the total amount required for the treatment but Rs.5000000 more is required to pay for all the medical expenses in India.

I have become helpless and the required amount required is huge, I request you to kindly contribute towards the treatment and help me during this time of need.
