Help My Wife, Swati, Fight Metastatic Breast Cancer

Hello all!

My name is Amit Chauhan, and this is the courageous story of my dear wife Swati Bhandari, and her battle against breast cancer. 

On December 1, 2022, I married the love of my life, Swati Bhandari. We dreamed of building a beautiful future together, but just weeks after our wedding, our world shattered. Swati discovered a lump in her left breast, and after multiple tests, we received the heartbreaking diagnosis—carcinoma of the left breast, which had already metastasized to her bones, liver, and lungs.

Since December 31, 2022, Swati has been undergoing treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in Rohini, Delhi. She has bravely endured chemotherapy every 21 days, along with radiation therapy, battling excruciating pain and unimaginable emotional distress. Despite all odds, she continues to fight with a strength that amazes me every day. 

Swati’s doctors have now recommended a new injection along with other supportive drugs that could significantly improve her condition. This gives us hope that we can give her a fighting chance at life. But as much as she fights, the financial burden of this battle is becoming overwhelming. In order to afford this, we urgently need financial support.

So far, we have spent approximately Rs. 25 lakh on her treatments, hospital expenses, medications, and special dietary needs. Each chemotherapy session costs between Rs. 3.5 to Rs. 4 lakh, and with every passing cycle, the strain on our finances grows heavier. I am the sole earning member in our small family of three—Swati, mother, and me. We have used up our savings, borrowed from friends and family, and done everything in our power to sustain her treatment. But now, we are at a point where we can no longer continue alone.

We are at a point where we need your help to arrange for the remaining amount of Rs. 30,00,000.
