Rani, a sweet dog, was found on an over bridge when our team responded to a call of absolute cruelty: Rape. Our team couldn't believe the horrifying scene in front of them and the trauma that poor Rani was going through!

The accuser was standing beside her with his pants down when we found her. Rani was, naturally, very scared. The police arrested the accused, and we took Rani into our custody for her well-being.

She had wounds on the back side of her body, had to undergo many treatments, and was taken for further tests by the vets.

Her care has amounted to INR 36,004, which includes Treatment - INR 8,780 Blood tests - INR 2,200 Vaginal washing - INR 1,450 Neutering surgery - INR 6,700 Post-operative care - INR 3,600 Deworming & Vaccinations - INR 1,250 Foster care - INR 12,024 (INR 167 per day for 72 days).

On a good note, we are pleased to inform you that Rani is doing much better now. She is more confident and sure of herself. She is still scared of men but does very well around women. Rani now eagerly awaits her forever home. She has been trained to walk on the leash, and she is also potty trained. She responds to basic obedience commands of - Sit and Down. She also plays with toys now and enjoys her newfound safety and freedom. Rani will remain under our care till she finds a home where she will be loved and cared for well.
