Mr. Ambika Prasad Is Fighting Against Multiple Life-Threatening Conditions - Your Help Can Save His Life

With great urgency, I, Tanisha Sen, request your help for Mr. Ambika Prasad Pattanaik, a 63-year-old who is currently fighting for his life.

Mr. Ambika Prasad has been battling multiple life-threatening conditions since March 29, 2026. Initially diagnosed as a severe infection, his condition has now escalated into sepsis, leading to multi-organ dysfunction (MODS), acute kidney injury (AKI), and ventilator-dependent respiratory failure. He has undergone a tracheostomy and is now reliant on continuous medical support, including dialysis, to survive. Alongside this, he is also suffering from sepsis-induced cholestatic jaundice, making his condition even more critical.

He is currently admitted to Care Hospital Utkal Heart Centre in Bhubaneswar, where he is undergoing intensive treatments to be stabilized. However, his condition remains extremely critical, and every passing day is a challenge.

The financial burden of this prolonged and intensive treatment has been overwhelming for the family. So far, they have already spent nearly Rs. 30,00,000 on hospital bills, dialysis, medications, and life-support care. Despite having four earning members in a family of six, the expenses have drained all their savings and resources. At this point, they urgently need an additional Rs. 30,00,000 to continue his treatment and give him a fighting chance at recovery.

It is a heartbreaking and emotional time for the family, who are doing all they can to overcome this difficult time. Seeing their plight, I have decided to help them and have set up this fundraiser on their behalf.
