Offer A Helping Hand To Support Daahab chishti's Treatment

My friend Daahab got diagnosed with covid on 6th May. She had major breathing issues and had to be hospitalized on May 11th amidst the chaos of the second wave. The doctors informed that covid had caused 70% damage to her lungs and she needed to be under critical care, and that coming weeks were gonna be crucial. Her HRCT score was 24/25. The lung puncture caused Pneumothorax i.e. leaking of air between lungs and chest wall. 

Today it's been nearly 2.5 months and Daahab is fighting against all odds and getting better everyday. Her speedy recovery has even surprised the doctors as they've rarely seen a patient fight back like this.

She is a fighter. She suffered from pneumothorax thrice, had panic attacks, saturation levels dropped, CO2 levels went up, but she managed to beat all that and is on the road to recovery.

 The coming days are going to be crucial and testing. In the process till now huge amounts have been exhausted. Her family's savings have dried up and one round of fundraising by her peers and friends has also happened but we're still in need of funds as she needs to remain hospitalized for another month and post hospitalization costs will be huge too as she is going to take around 8 months of post hospitalization treatment and oxygen support.. The basic fee just for the hospital bed is around 70k per day, plus there will be other expenses for meds and special procedures that we've been told to prepare for.

The first thing daahab would want you to know about her is that she's a stand up comedian but the first thing I wanna tell you is that she's one of the most genuine human beings I've come across in my life. 

She is someone who had to grow up and assume responsibility much early in life and despite that she's kept the child in her alive. She's the funniest person to be around and is literally always either laughing or making people laugh. She's one of those rare friends who's as excited to listen to your problems and help you out as she is to listen your gossip. 

We all call her Daahab didi cause she's the helpful, understanding elder sister we didn't have, although she has told multiple times that she isn't thrilled that "itne bde bde, daadhi mooch waale ladke mujhe didi bula rhe hain". 

Most of all I think it's her liveliness and spirit that has kept her and everyone around her going in these crucial times. More than the positive medical reports it was her smiling photos from the hospital bed that gave us hope and strength.
