ABOUT ME:

I am Yemula Nithin from Nizamabad, Telangana, India. I was captivated by the beauty of the Himalayan ranges when I first visited Roopkund Lake (16,469 ft.) and continued to pursue various Himalayan treks. I have successfully completed the Basic Mountaineering Course from Indian Himalayan Center for Adventure and Eco-Tourism, Sikkim.

By profession, I work as Senior Assistant at the Information and Public Relations Department (I & PR), Govt. of Telangana. By passion I am an Mountaineer, Outdoor trek leader & international backpacker. I have led 250+ Adventure treks in India.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

"Fastest individual to Climb Highest peaks of two continents" in 10 days by India Book of Records.

Hoisted 75feet Indian Flag on the highest peak of Africa - Mt. Kilimanjaro on 14.08.2022 on the occasion of India 75th Independence Day Celebrations.

Climbed highest peak of Africa - Mt. Kilimanjaro 19,341ft on 14.08.2022 07.08 am.

Climbed highest peak of Europe - Mt. Elbrus 18,510ft on 24.08.2022 08.20 am.

ABOUT 7 SUMMITS:

The 7 Summits are defined as the highest peaks on each of the seven continents. A mighty goal, climbing all of these mountains is a pinnacle achievement that many mountaineers dream of. It’s a phenomenal feat that requires extreme fitness, commitment, determination, resilience and courage and as such, joining the ‘Seven Summiters’ club is a very exclusive privilege held by few people. What do you mean by Project 7 Summit?

I truly believe that - “Mountains are not Stadiums where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, they are the Earth Sanctuary where I practice my religion.”

Initially for me Mt. Everest is only dream to conquer it, but when i start researching about Mt. Everest climb, i have to under go training basic skills in climbing than regular treks i do to conquer it. Then i approached Mr. Bachinepally Shekar Babu Sir (The first Indian to climb Mt. Everest as an individual in 2007 & Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Awardee by the President of India). Then he suggested to take basic rock climbing course at Bhongir Rock Climbing School. Then after taking 6 days of courses in Level - 1 & 2 my ideology of trekking changed to Climbing. Then i decided to climb all the 7 summits in the world and push all my limits.

To climb Highest Mountain in each continent in order to break previous youngest climber record the age of 35 year. This will change the face of adventure sports in India and will bring great honor to our country which is dominated by entertainment sports.

Phase 1:

- Basic Mountaineering Course (March 2021) - Completed on March 2021

Phase 2:

- Africa: Mount Kilimanjaro 19,341ft | 5,895m (14th August 22) - Completed on 14.08.2022

- Europe: Mount Elbrus 18,510ft | 5642m (24th August 22) - Completed on 24.08.2022

- South America: Aconcagua 22,841ft | 6962m (January 23)

Phase 3:

- Special Mountaineering Course (Jan 23 & February 23)

- Asia: Mt. Everest 29,035ft | 8,848.56m (March 23 to May 23)

- Asia: Mt. Damavand 18,406ft | 5610m (July 2023)

- Australia: Mount Kosciuszko 7,310ft | 2228m (August 2023)

- Antarctica: Vinson Massif 16,050ft | 4892m (Dec 2023/ Jan 2024)

- Antarctica: Mount Sidley 14,058ft | 4,285m (Dec 2023/ Jan 2024)

AFRICA HIGHEST PEAK - MT. KILIMANJARO 19,341FT

It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) above sea level and it is a six day expedition, staring from Marangu Gate

EUROPE HIGHEST PEAK - MT. ELBRUS 18,510FT:

Mount Elbrus is the highest and most prominent peak in Russia and Europe. It is situated in the western part of the Caucasus and is the highest peak of the Caucasus Mountains.

ROOPKUND LAKE - 16,464FT

KEDARKANTHA PEAK - 12,500FT

BRAHMATHAL PEAK - 12,250FT

INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS:

The record for being the fastest to climb the highest peaks of two continents was set by Nithin Yemula (born on August 4, 1990) of Nizamabad, Telangana. He climbed the highest peak of Africa the Uhuru Peak (5895 m) of Mount Kilimanjaro at 7:08 am on August 14, 2022 and the highest peak of Europe the Western Peak (5642 m) of Mount Elbrus at 8:20 am on August 24, 2022. He summitted both the peaks in 10 days, 1 hour and 12 minutes, as confirmed on August 29, 2022.
