Providing Healthcare Access to all via ZINI.ai

ZINI is an Artificial intelligence based chatbot made by a team of doctors and engineers working together with a single mission, and that is, ' for everyone to be able to get timely access to genuine healthcare advice, anywhere, anytime, on the planet.' 

Brainchild of Dr. Rohit sharma, who in his career realised that a Massive amount of people do not get access to genuine healthcare advice because of a multitude of reasons. Doctors try their best to help every patient that comes to them, patients ofcourse try their best to get genuine healthcare advice, but most of the time this match is not possible.

Resons are many, to list a few would be,

1st and top most the cost of getting medical advice is skyrocketing every year. It may not seem obvious but most people, even majority of middle class cannot afford medical care and most people are but 1 serious illness away from being completely bankrupt. Many are seen waiting and sleeping out side government hospitals like AIIMS and PGI waiting for their turn in the OPD that may not even last for 5 minutes. Yes, all this wait just to get 5 minutes of a Doctors time. Which brings us to the 2nd point,

2ndly, there is a Massive shortage of specialist doctors. There is no denying that in fact there are severely less number of doctors then are required to handle the load of patients. This affects not only the poor but the Rich as well alike. Even 5 star hospitals have long waiting ques for well to do patients and there are hardly any beds to accomodate the patient load that is present today. leading to delays, frustrations and loss of valuable time in providing healthcare services. 

3rdly it is practically not possible to build and create new doctors and health facilities at a pace the population is rising in addition to the massive cost involved. 

So addressing theme major and many minor problems in the healthcare sector, Dr. Sharma and his team of innovate and socially devoted scientists and experts from all disciplines including medicine, computer science, machine learning and AI came together to think of an innovative solution where they started working on an Artificial intelligence, a sort of virtual mind that is able to understand a patients symptoms using a simple mobile app in their hand, ask relevent questions that a human doctor would ask and start giving preliminary / primary advice and solutions as to what they should do to help themselves in the moment. 

Help them understand if this is an emergency or a minor problem, which speicialist is best suited for their needs and how soon they should see one. Also a bunch of other information on the disease and guidance related to that. 

ZINI has been showing promising results so far and is already running with a few patients right now on the android playstore. 

But in order to increase the scope of it's abilities and make her a better diagnostician as well as a smarter more acceptable healthcare assistant, We need to raise some funds. 

We intend to use these funds to make her more smart, give her more abilities and features, and above all spread the word for this new technology so it can help more and more people in need.  

These funds will help us big time in overcoming some initial road blocks and help the developers of ZINI realise the dream of making genuine healthcare advice accessible to all in time anywhere on the planet.
