My daughter can be saved but I don’t have Rs 5 lakh for chemotherapy. Help!

Rishita, a 4-year-old girl, is suffering from blood cancer. She used to be a bright little girl full of life. 

But blood cancer has taken her childhood from her. Her story needs your attention and your kindness because there is hope for her.

“My daughter is my life and seeing her suffer like this, my heart aches with a lot of pain.” says her mother Aswathamma, holding her dear daughter close to her.

Their life has not been easy at all. Narendra Babu, Rishita's father met with a gruesome accident that injured his leg really badly. To this day, he is still recovering from it. 

Despite the pain and trauma, her father works day and night to provide the best treatment for her daughter. He works on his tea stall, giving tea to tired customers yet he never utters a word on his own problems. 

But even after working day and night, he is only able to earn six thousand rupees per month.

It all started with a fever and the symptoms grew. 

“At first, I refused to believe that my daughter had cancer. How could a child, who has done nothing wrong end up with such a terrible disease? It broke me..”, says her father.

The diagnosis was very difficult to accept for everyone. It has had an enormous influence on their families and everyday lives.

Chemotherapy, with such frequency, has been painful for Rishita, but is the only way out. They need 5 lakh ($ 6818.45) rupees to continue with the treatment.

Rishita’s mother suffered through a miscarriage and has been suffering from mental health issues.

They also have another 11-year-old Bhavya, who is also attached to the younger sister. The moment of diagnosis made the entire family feel like they have lost their lives.
