My Baby Battles For His Life And We Need Your Support To Save Him

“Will he be okay? I am unable to understand. Please tell me...” I cried as the doctors came in with my baby's test results..

A few months back, I delivered a beautiful baby boy. My family and I celebrated his birth, we were so happy.

But, our happiness did not last long.

When he turned 3 months old, I noticed a gradual decrease in his body weight. Unlike other healthy children his age, my son was extremely underweight.

I knew something was terribly wrong.

He caught a heavy cold, I could hear unfamiliar sounds as he exhaled. He lost appetite and suffered from insomnia.

Without hesitation, I rushed him to the hospital.

The doctors noted a few symptoms and took him in for some tests.

“I'm sorry but the test results aren't good. The results show that your baby was born with a problem in his heart. We'll have to perform surgery as soon as possible.”

Upon hearing his diagnosis, I fell to the floor in tears. I could hardly believe it.

“All we want is our baby to be healthy. My husband and I don’t have a lot of money or luxuries but we have so much love to give. Why is this happening?” I thought to myself.

Even though I was crushed, I was determined to save my baby's life.

With a constant cold & a dangerously abnormal heart rate, our son's life has been slipping away from him.

As the doctor said, he needs heart surgery to survive but this will cost a whopping Rs 5 lakh ( $ 6641.21).

“My husband is a coolie and I'm a simple housewife. Oh Lord, how can we afford Rs 5 lakh ( $ 6641.21)?”

As a mother, my heart bleeds seeing my little one in so much pain but there's nothing I can do.

Till now- from selling the few valuable objects and items of jewellery we owned- we have tried all avenues to raise the said amount, but still, we are nowhere near it.

Therefore, at this point, I turn to you for help.
