Help 160 kids explore the world and keep learning!

    In Sant Gadge Maharaj English Medium School, a government school in Pune, 30 eighth graders sit cross-legged on the floor and struggle to hear their teachers over the din of 60 screaming kindergarteners. Two floors above, 130 kids are crammed into two small classrooms and work as best they can. These are far from the ideal classrooms, but they are our current reality.

    Although we cannot change the infrastructure of our classes, we are trying to give our kids the best education we can. With these funds, we hope to:

• Open a library for the whole school
• Begin Chess Club and Model United Nations
• Help the kids create a Legacy Project
• Buy projectors, cupboards, and other basics for our classrooms
• Fund school fees through tenth standard for those children who would otherwise be unable to do so
