She needs money to complete her MBBS degree

Hello everyone,I am Jyotirmayee Samal from Odisha and I am running this campaign to raise funds for my MBBS education.

Every year more than 16 lakhs students appear the NEET exam(the only exam in India to get into medical college) and out of these only the top 20-30 thousand students get into government medical college to pursue MBBS.After 2 years of hardwork and dedication,I cracked this highly competitive exam in 2021 with an All India Rank of 12211 and got admission in VSS medical college Burla,sambalpur.

I have been good in academics since my school and I always wanted to become a doctor and serve the society.Our financial condition was not that good.But seeing my dedication and interest in studies,my father never stopped me from pursuing my dream.

But covid shattered everything.My family's financial condition worsened.

My father Umakanta Samal worked in a small restaurant but due to lockdown and all,the restaurant went into loss and the owner completely shut the restaurant.Meanwhile my father's health deteriorated due to severe diabetics.He had several gout attacks and got bedridden for months.A lot of money was spent in his treatment.Now he is not in a condition to do physical labour.My mother Puspita Samal is an anganwadi worker and earns Rs 7500 per month.Her monthly income is insufficient for us.We couldnot pay our bills and other EMIs.So we had to take lot of debts in these two year of covid lockdown.

Now that i got admission into medical college my family doesnt have money to pay my fees.My Father borrowed Rs50,000 from his friendsto pay my initial 1st year admission fees.But MBBS course is of 5 years.The total expenses including food charges,hostel fees and books will be around 5 lakhs. My family has no money to afford my college expenses for 5 years. 

We cannot even take loans from bank because my family's income is not sufficient for any bank to grant a loan.

I have worked day and night for getting into medical college but now I am afraid that my dream is going to shatter because of financial problems.

Therefore I am asking for financial help on ketto.With your help and support I can complete my MBBS studies and become a doctor.

So its my humble request to everyone reading this,please extend your hands to help me.Even a small contribution matters a lot.

Here i am attaching my approximate expenses for 5 years and other proofs so that you can ensure where your money will be used.
