Hi,

I'm Shobha Kalyanaswamy and a VG Miss & Mrs India Finalist 2021. I pledge to raise funds for Child Help Foundation, for emergency medical cases in our country.

As we all know, the last few months have been extremely challenging as the pandemic shook the entire world to its core. And this has surely not regressed the conditions of the poor and needy. From extreme joblessness to delayed urgent surgeries, many people have been hanging on the thread of life and death, as they faced severe medical emergencies but did not have anyone to turn to. Even those who had a strong footing before the pandemic faced immeasurable challenges. 

India tops the ranking chart when it comes to over-population and due to this, the majority of the underprivileged infants and children fall prey to severe health conditions such as heart ailments and Cancer. Their parents couldn't do much due to financial restrictions and lack of information.

Today, as a vigilant citizen of India,  I pledge to raise funds and try my best to help the Child Help Foundation to impart their various Emergency Medical Support Programs to maximum beneficiaries across India.

About Child Help Foundation?

Child Help Foundation (CHF) is a non-profit organization operating all over India. It is spearheaded by a team of young, dynamic, spirited and experienced individuals, who are sincerely dedicated to nurturing the needs and necessities of neglected children, the nation’s future generation. 

What CHF Does?

Child Help Foundation focuses on providing education, development, intervention, treatment, dignity, care and a lot more to the needy and underprivileged children. Recognizing, understanding and implementing the best practices in child development, care and protection is a major focus of our programs. Constant monitoring and evaluation in order to identify best practices are done on a regular basis to ensure the excellent quality of service delivery.

What Is Emergency Medical Support?

Our country is home to the largest number of children population in the world. Under the Emergency medical program, we provide treatment support to the ones who are in need of critical medical treatment. Here, we are supporting all these needy children whose parents can’t able to afford the cost of a hospital as well as who are underprivileged.

We ensure that children afflicted by Cancer or ingrained illnesses do not have to die in the dawn of their lives. Child Help Foundation (CHF) interacts with different medical specialty departments of various partners’ hospital on a regular basis to track down updates on underprivileged children who need emergency medical treatment. 

We, the finalists of VG Miss & Mrs India 2021, have pledged to help with the cancer treatment of 10-12 children who are currently fighting cancer and hail from extremely weak economic backgrounds. The beneficiaries will be sponsored treatment which includes chemotherapy sessions, surgeries and other medical procedures along with an awareness session, all of which costs around Rs 15-20 lakh.

The cost of the treatment is subsidized because of CHFs' partnerships with hospitals. I would like to help sponsor the treatment of 2 such kids while also spreading maximum awareness.

I request you all to come forth and donate generously. The reports of the utilization of funds and the children who were treated will be provided to all donors so that you can see how you have transformed the lives of these children.
