WHO WE ARE...

Team Full Throttle is the official student Go-kart team from SRM Institute of Science & Technology. A group of 25 students from different engineering backgrounds who combine their classroom and practical knowledge to build a Go-kart with high standards.

Our satisfaction comes automatically when we see our hardwork running on the race tacks among many brilliant teams from all over the nation.

We put all we got in ourselves into the team, thats why we are called FULL THROTTLE.

OUR VISION & MISSION

Our fabrication lab is home to various innovations. Our team comprises of people who are expert in their domains like engine , brakes , steering , sponsorship , marketting , designing etc.

Our mission in the coming years is to participate internationally in a Go-kart competition and represent the country overseas. 

OUR RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS

Our team has participated in International Go-kart championship held in Lovely Professional University , Punjab. We scored the 1st prize in the Autocross event and we were ranked overall 11th among 55 teams.

   Following the IGC-LPU event our team participated in Go-kart design   challange to satisfy our desire to win even more. GoKart Design   Challange(GKDC) was held on Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore and   our team bagged the 1st prize in Autocross , Runner up award in Skidpad   test and best CAE award.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Our desire to finish 1st in an event is still not satisfied. With even better skilled and experienced team members we gear up to participate again in Go-Kart Design Challange to be held in February 2019. Currently to start our preparations for this year's competition funds are a major challange for us. As the team comprises of students from different backgrounds we cannot afford all the prices ourselves withour your support.

Following are the estimated costs:

1. Registration Fee : 22500 rupees 

2. Kart fabrication cost : Approx 1.5Lakh rupees

3. Transportation of vehicle to the event venue : 12000 rupees

4. Accomodation and travel expense for the team : 40000 rupees
