The early years of a destitute child's life are very difficult. They decide to survive in life on their own, there is no one to nurture them and they isolate themselves from laying the foundation of their education and overall development with care. Most of the time, children develop antisocial tendencies. This happens and they take the form of business and later on they start doing many anti-social activities. They thrive in inhumanly painful lives.

During the early years children develop the cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills needed to succeed in life. These early experiences are largely determined by proper nutrition, health care, and learning opportunities. Early childhood education (ECE) and nutrition have a positive impact on the attendance, retention and learning of children in primary and higher education.

Solutions – What We Do

Dalit Vikas Abhiyan Samiti (DVAS) aims to free those children from sexual exploitation and harassment and connect them to the mainstream of education, whose father or mother dies after birth and to keep them away from anomalies for their overall development. We have to connect them with education and connect them with the mainstream of the society by running education center's. Dalit Vikas Abhiyan Samiti (DVAS) has set up 100 nutrition-cum-education centers at community locations in 10 districts of Bihar, educating 1000 needy children. The center aims to achieve sustainable development affecting physical development, mental health development and physical well-being. Promoting daily nutrition and education among children. Children at the education center happily and playfully engage in early childhood education processes. Through inclusive education practices, children at the primary education level develop a sense of confidence to attend school on a regular basis. Educational inputs are provided from. What do we want to achieve?

Dalit Vikas Abhiyan Samiti (DVAS) is demanding relief from exploitation, oppression and cognitive development to the children of these marginalized communities.
