Support Our Daughter’s Journey to Becoming an Ayurveda Healer

Dear Friends,

My name is Tasnim Shaikh, and I come to you with a humble plea for help. My daughter, Hiba Nadeem Shaikh, is a brilliant and dedicated 22-year-old, driven by a lifelong passion for healing and caring for others. From a young age, Hiba has dreamed of becoming an Ayurveda healer, believing in the power of nature to cure ailments and bring happiness to those in need.

As a family of three, we have always supported Hiba’s aspirations. However, life has taken a tragic turn. Just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2019, my husband—Hiba's father and the sole breadwinner of our family—lost his job.

Despite his relentless efforts to find stable work, he has been forced to take on temporary jobs and freelance work, barely managing to support us. We live in rented accommodation, and the financial strain has pushed us to our limits.

Hiba has been staying in a hostel for the past two and a half years, sacrificing her comfort and being away from home to pursue her studies and her dream of becoming a future life saver. She is currently in the midst of her Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery program. Over this time, we have exhausted our savings and sold many of our valuable assets to pay for her education, totaling 7 lakhs. However, we are now facing an uphill battle, with 8 lakhs needed to cover her remaining fees, including hostel costs.

To make matters worse, my husband has suffered from mental instability and physical illness, making it increasingly challenging for him to support our family. He is afflicted by health issues that have left him unable to walk properly, adding to our overwhelming burden.

Hiba represents hope for our family, and her education is the key to a brighter future. If we can help her complete her studies, she will go on to save lives as a compassionate Ayurveda healer, bringing joy and healing to countless individuals.
