Support the Family of our Colleague - Antim Sharma

On May 12th, we lost a valued colleague Antim Sharma to Covid in India. Antim joined the HMD Global India team in August of 2019 as the Technical Account Manager for Market Access, and in a short while proved himself to be a remarkable asset. Last year, he stepped up to fill the gap left by the exit of the regional Market Access Head, once again showing his ability to take on a challenge and his commitment to the India business.

Antim leaves behind his wife Dipika and his young son Gaurav (10 years old) of whom he was immensely proud, and I am sure that as the HMD family we shall not let them feel alone.

Many of our colleagues have asked how they can contribute to the family in this difficult time. To this effect, we have created this Ketto fundraiser that enables us to show our support.

Antim was not only a technically strong manager, who had a good understanding of the industry and competition, but also someone who brought a different perspective to the challenges we faced and took on the same with a positive attitude towards making things happen.

We shall remember Antim, not only for his invaluable contribution to our HMD community, but also for being the fine father and family man that he was. We pray that his family can receive the strength to shoulder this unbearable loss.
