My son fell from the third floor, and has been unconscious since! Please help us save him

Ever since the accident, the image of my 2-year-old son lying unconscious haunts me. No matter what I do or think, that scene keeps replaying in my mind.

He fell from the 3rd floor, injuring his waist, jaw, and other parts of his body. His head injury is the most serious. He’s just a toddler, and I can’t bear to see him like this.

I work as a cook, and my husband breaks rocks, earning just ₹6,800 a month. We are homeless and can barely afford food. 

How can we afford ₹10,34,000 ($ 12210) for his treatment? Please, we need your help.

My husband, two sons, and I moved from Bihar to Faridabad in search of work and a better life. 

But life here has been hard. We are homeless and can’t afford rent. My husband breaks rocks, and I cook at different homes, but we only earn ₹6,800 a month.

Despite the struggle, we dreamed of building a home and giving our children a better life. But everything changed when my older son, Divyansh, fell from the third floor and seriously injured his head and other body parts. We rushed him to the hospital.

“I can’t see him like this. My poor baby… How can I save him?” my husband sobbed, his voice shaky and breath heavy from exhaustion after crying for so long.

The doctors told us our son is in critical condition and needs surgery that costs ₹10,34,000 ($ 12210). 

Seeing him like this shattered us. My husband and I couldn’t stop crying, hoping for better news. But when the doctor said the surgery was necessary, our hearts sank even further.

I didn’t have a single penny, but I couldn’t let my child die. We begged the doctor to help, and thankfully, the hospital admitted him. 

He’s still in the hospital, receiving care, but they can’t proceed with the essential surgery until the fees are paid.

I can’t bear to see my son like this. He meant everything to me, and now he’s fighting for his life.

His waist and jaw are badly injured, and the trauma to his brain is severe. Without immediate treatment, his recovery is uncertain.

I feel helpless. We don’t even have a roof over our heads, let alone anything valuable to sell. How can I save my son?

I would do anything for him. If giving my life could save his, I’d do it without hesitation. I never wanted luxury, just a home for my sons, no matter how small. I never asked for wealth, only a happy family. 

But now, it feels like money is the only thing standing in the way.

My husband and I barely eat these days. We don't have the money or the appetite after seeing our child like this. I’ve never seen my husband cry so much. 

With just ₹6,800 in monthly earnings, how can we afford ₹10,34,000? How can a parent sit helpless while their son fights for his life in the hospital?
