Suresh K's Initiative to Maximise Happiness

My name is Suresh K and I am running this crowdfunding campaign “Maximise Happiness” for Chinmaya Seva Trust Mumbai (Chinmaya Mission Mumbai). As of 2nd October 2020 Chinmaya Mission Mumbai has served millions of Individuals for more than 60 years. I would request you to support me in helping spread a smile and Maximising Happiness..

The cause covered here is one which has a tremendous and lasting impact across all ages and across all spectrum of the society. While the requirement of material help is easily evident and the effect of such help easily realized, mental seva is at a much more subtle but fundamental level. The rising stress levels due to the challenging circumstances require innovative methods to increase mental fortitude amongst the young and old alike.
 

As part of our Mental, Cultural and Spiritual Seva:
 

Chinmaya Mission Mumbai has been at the forefront of such methodologies in order to help people realize their full potentials.

People are made aware of the significance of the various practices and traditions, through the annual Geeta Chanting Competitions reaching more than 16500 students from 200 schools. 

“Man without Culture is a Vulture,” said Swami Chinmayananda. Chinmaya Mission Mumbai also houses Chinmaya Pradeep at its centre in Powai which is the first of its kind outdoor Vedantic Vision Park which admits over 1 lakh visitors a year FREE OF COST. Thus, CM Mumbai strives to connect people to their roots so that they treasure the rich cultural heritage of this country.

Through weekly classes, regular transformations workshops, discussion groups, lecture series, life skills workshops, etc. Chinmaya Mission Mumbai has been engaging and inspiring minds through its Mental and Spiritual Seva. 

The organization currently has around 250 classes for different age groups, conducts around 10-15 workshops for the corporate, 50 lecture series, and has conducted over 1600 transformation workshops FREE OF COST for students in schools and colleges across the city. 

Your support will go a long way towards increasing the reach of these initiatives across this city.

The various causes that are going to be covered under Mental, Cultural, and Spiritual Seva are:

• Conducting the Gita Chanting competition FREE OF COST to reach around 25000 participants across the city
• Organizing Mental transformation and Drug awareness workshops in Schools, Colleges FREE OF COST
• Spreading cultural awareness through Chinmaya Pradeep 
• Developing mental fortitude and igniting patriotic fervour through weekly classes, camps, festival celebrations, discussion groups, etc.
• Organizing 40-50 FREE Lecture Series in a year and Corporate Workshops to enable the use of spiritual principles to empower oneself Physically, Mentally, Intellectually, and Spiritually based on the Bhagawad Gita and other Vedantic Texts

About the Campaign

“Maximum Happiness for Maximum People For Maximum Time” is the motto of Chinmaya Mission. This has been the driving force behind the countless programs the Mission has undertaken in the past and continues to undertake in the future! In these COVID times, there is a definite need to address the well-being of every section of the society at all levels and Chinmaya Mission Mumbai has been reaching out to the society through various measures. In order to support and further increase the scope and reach of these initiatives, a crowdfunding campaign titled “Maximise Happiness” has been initiated by Chinmaya Mission Mumbai.
