 ABOUT TEAM DURGAYANS

TEAM DURGAYANS formed in 2015 is a group of undergraduate students participating in a competition named as BAJA SAE INDIA to achieve glory for Dr D Y PATIL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, PIMPRI as well as for INDIA. With strategies in mind and perseverance in soul, the team started its dream with flying colours. 

ABOUT SAE BAJA

SAE BAJA is an intercollegiate design competition in which colleges from all over the world participate to show their engineering skills. In this competition, the undergraduate students have to design, manufacture and build an off road vehicle which can withstand the harshest elements of a rough terrain. The competition takes place in various countries of which we as a team participate in the INDIAN EVENT. Further with this initiative we are planning to bring laurels to our country in INTERNATIONAL EVENTS too.

Continuing our legacy of improving and innovating AGNIPANKH for the past 4 years, the buggy built in 2017-2018 was one of the highlights in our journey of BAJA as a team. But only designing and manufacturing a buggy wouldn't bring glory as per our experiences from past years. What matters is the technology you use. You (supporters) might think TECHNOLOGY in what way? The answer for this is the CVT, SHOCK ABSORBER, DAQ SYSTEM, etc. This fund raising initiative would help us to make you understand our dream and help us to achieve it.

ACHIEVEMENTS

1. In 2016-2017, when BAJA turned 10th, we stood 10th.

2. In 2017-2018, we achieved 1st award in GO GREEN EVENT.

3. We as a team stood 1st runner up in DAY NIGHT ENDURANCE RACE in MEGA ATV CHAMPIONSHIP 2018.
