An initiative for a social cause, to help the children of the rural community and give them the power of education.
ABOUT
English is the language of Today and Tomorrow.
As the spread and demand of the English language is increasing to a very large scale in the urban areas, this is rarely being seen in the rural areas where even though it is present, but it can't be put to practical purposes because of the lack of specialized teachers present there.
The Aasha Project is a campaign by Vibhav Khandelwal, a 17-year-old student of DPS Mathura Road. It is for the goal of educating children and increasing the literacy in English in rural schools.
OUR GOAL
We have started our program in a little school named Sanjeewani Public School in Tigra village, Haryana. As we progress and delve deeper into this noble cause of increasing literacy among the rural children, we are in need of help for improving the basic infrastructural issues, like proper lighting in the classrooms and installation of wash basins outside the washrooms to increase sanitation, in addition to distributing textbooks and notebooks to these approximately 50 lovely students.
We hope to to teach and increase the literacy of the children in the study of basic English and make them fluent in the same. We need your support for this issue of investing in the leaders of tomorrow, which will be beneficial for them, as well as the country.
