To participate in 67th National Shooting Championship Competition

Namaste to All,

I am Shruti Yadav, from Korba, Chhattisgarh State; an athlete, practicing my sports in the arena of pistol shooting. And I have been competing in 10 Meter Air Pistol, 25 Meter Sports Pistol, 50 Meter free pistol shooting sports since 2014.

It was my honor to have represented India in International shooting games as well as Chhattisgarh state for national shooting championship.

I am elated to say that I became the first shooter (among Male & Female Categories) and only Female shooter (10 Meter Air Pistol) from Chhattisgarh state who qualified for the “Indian Shooting Team Trial Quest since 2018,2019,2021,2022,2023 “and “Renowned Shoot” in 10 Meter Air Pistol Event and in 50 meter Free Pistol.

This is the first time, after 18 years of the formation of Chhattisgarh State, I got the honor to represent Chhattisgarh State for the first time in the Indian Team Trails Quest in 10m Air Pistol.

I represented India in 2019 International Shooting Competition in Italy and won 2 gold medals “10m Air Pistol” and “25m Sports Pistol” category. So far I have won 5 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in the Chhattisgarh State Shooting Championship. 1 silver medal in East Zone shooting championship, also won 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal in Open Shooting Championship at Delhi and won 2 Gold and 1 Bronze medal in "10m Air Pistol" and "25m Sports Pistol and Center Fire Pistol" events in "National Master Games 2019" held at Dehradun.

Last year, After hard training, I was selected to represent Chhattisgarh state in “66th National Shooting championship Competition” which was held at Bhopal in the month of Nov-Dec’23. Where I am the only girl from Chhattisgarh state, who represented Chhattisgarh in three event i.e 10 Meter Air Pistol, 25 Meter Sports Pistol & 50 Meter Free Pistol Event.

For preparation of 67th National shooting championship and to secure medal for Chhattisgarh state, I need financial aid for shooting sports equipment and for my training, rent out of pistol (25meter sports & 50meter free pistol) and ammunition.

The request:

I am hesitatingly writing to share that my financial condition is not very sound to support my passion for the shooting sports as I am unable to bear all the expenses incurring while taking training from the certified coach at different shooting ranges along with ammunition and borrow pistol for the shooting competition.

I am humbly requesting for a grant of sponsorship under your preview, which can be helpful for getting financial assistance in the range of 2 to 3 Lakhs towards my upcoming 67th National shooting competition training, Coach fees, hostel fees. I have the deep desire to not only represent my country at various International Shooting competitions.

I have fought many odds to reach at this this stage of respect and grace though this sports and I am sure that you would feel that this kind of financial assistance can really support my promising sports career in shooting sports and aspire many others to follow this path.

You are requested to consider my request and help me get this financial aid, so that I can make my sports, my people, and my country proud.
