PROJECT PROPOSAL ON ORPHAN CHILDREN HOME

An Overview:-

In our project area a Ghoramara Sishu Anand Ashram orphanage is running with limited local donations resources to take care of about 30 orphan children (Age 5-14 yrs) . But, day by day number of children are increasing due to various reasons. We need additional support from the donors due to increasing orphan children in our Ashram. This Ashram will have two Care takers who besides handling day-to- day administration and will look after the Gharamara Sishu Anand Ashram orphanage by Mr.Mritoonjay Majumdar as warden. One Teacher teaches to the children for education.

Objective:-

Mainstreaming the Orphan children in the national building by providing care, support & protection through shelter, food, and education is our mission and also help them to become useful members of the society.

Challenges:-

The problem of orphan children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization. These orphan children are left without care and support. These children are involved in rag picking; pick pocketing & participating in anti social, criminal activities.

Methodology:-

• Identifying the orphan children through our volunteers.
• Pre-view of the orphan children problems/difficulties. We counsel and arrange for Emotional acceptance of the orphan child.
• To provide Lodging and boarding facilities for all inmates at a rented building in Naya Basti, Rishra Dist- Hooghly (West Bengal) .
• To arranged teaching facilities in nearby schools according to their age. We also provide home tuitions, recreation and health care.
• To sustain to mobilize continuos donations for good work and service.
• Planning to build permanent home by acquire land from the donors.
