Water is life and farmers are our lifeline. We can eat because they grow. They have land, they have seeds, they sweat their blood out to grow crops and protect them but, without water they get paralyzed and at times forced to commit suicide. Water deficit in an area not only affects a farmer, it affects his family health and education of his children too.

Kachchh is a drought prone district in Gujarat. Every 2 or 3 years Kachchh faces drought and farmers of the region have to starve. Their health degrades and children drop out of schools to do odd jobs to survive. Thousands of cows die due to lack of water and dry grasslands.

Ground water in Kachchh has lowered to 500 feet. These ground water with high TDS and fluorides is damaging kidney and decaying teeth, affecting pregnancy and children's brain development too.

I am a Mumbai based cleantech innovator. With a few friends from IIT (Mumbai) we have developed a solar powered robotic dredger that can help villagers and farmers desilt/deepen their lakes, ponds and check dams and increase water holding capacity. This technology has been awarded by Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MNiNS) and we are raising funds to deploy this in Kachchh.

This single robot will increase water holding capacity of a village lake by 1.5 crore litres every month. Over a year, this robot will give our farmers 1,80,00,000 (1.8 Crore) litres of water for drinking and agriculture. This will help save hundreds of cows, support farmers, their families and give children in Kachchh a better life. The life of this machine is 10 years, which means with your donation, this robot will give farmers, 180 crore litres of water.

When we or our loved ones are thirsty, we easily spend Rs 20 and buy a 1 litre Bisleri bottle but think about those who grow our food and are hungry and thirsty but have no money to spend. This same 20 rupees, you can give a thirsty farmer 100 litres of water.

With a donation of Rs 1000, you will give a farmer/family 5000 (five thousand) litres of water.

With a donation of Rs 25000, you will give a farmer/family 1,25,000 (one lakh twenty five thousand) litres of water.

With a donation of Rs 1,00,000 you will give a farmer/family 5,00,000 (five lakh) litres of water.
