My granddaughter Deepika is all I have left. Don’t let me lose her as well- please, help before it’s too late!
Deepika’s mother passed away when she was just a baby.
She grew up without a mother, and it filled me with sadness whenever she would ask about why she was so unlucky to have lost a parent before she could even get to know them.
I did my best to be there for her whenever I could, and raised her as my own child.
However, poor Deepika’s misfortune was not over- a few years ago, she lost her father to cancer as well.
“The loss was devastating for her. I can’t imagine what losing both parents at such a young age would do to a person.”
Even when suffering these hardships, Deepika was always grateful for the relationship she had with me.
After her father’s passing, she moved in with me and the two of us tried to make the best of what we had left.
Despite experiencing such losses, she still found a way to smile and look at the bright side of things. Her positivity and cheerful nature is the only thing that has kept us going. Unfortunately, everything changed when she fell sick.
“It started as a simple cold and cough. I did everything I could to take care of her at home, but there was no sign of improvement even after days.”
I soon realised that her condition was no ordinary seasonal flu- and I rushed her to the doctor.
She was diagnosed with severe pneumonia along with hypotonic quadriparesis, a condition which left all her muscles weak & led to paralysis. The doctor prescribed her a few medicines and gave us strict instructions to follow.
However, even after weeks of following the doctor’s orders, Deepika’s health was only getting worse- she completely lost her appetite, could barely move and was having trouble breathing.
I rushed her to the hospital, where she was admitted to the ICU. I was informed that her pneumonia had progressed and she was in need of constant medical care to monitor her condition.
She’s been in hospital for days now, but she still needs further medical care to save her life. Little by little, she loses the ability to control her limbs entirely. I’ve spent everything I had on her treatment so far, but I still need INR 6,00,000.00 more.
Unemployed and a widow, I have no support. There is no way I can afford Deepika’s treatment on my own.
Your help is her only chance- please, don’t let me lose the only family I have left!
