I grew up in Nashik with a geological hammer in one hand and a pair of binoculars in the other, exploring the beautiful Sahyadri wilderness and marveling at its basalt lava flows and creatures. This is my second attempt at crowdfunding for a cause I believe in. The first was tied to my half-marathon run at the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2017, where I raised INR 22,000 for stray dog NGOs in Mumbai. This time, I'm setting a higher monetary (and elevation) goal: INR 75000 for wildlife conservation in Nashik, and 21 km at an elevation of 11,500 feet at the 2017 Ladakh Marathon.
