    Dear All,

We Thank You for your generous contribution towards our very special initiative.

We are thrilled to inform you that we have purchased 10 latest manikins with the funds raised from this campaign so far. The new manikins not only allow us to conduct trainings on human body like dummies, but their advanced technology also allows us to keep the rate and pressure under check. The manikins can be connected to I-Pad and I-Phone where the app tells us if the speed and pressure used is correct.

We would love to train you all on our latest manikins. If you would like to get trained sign up on the link below and we will connect with you:

We hope to reach our target amount very soon. :)

Did you know that every FB share gets 1 more donation.

About the Fundraiser

How many people around you / that you know of have died due to a sudden cardiac arrest?

60% of such untimely deaths can be revived using the simple technique of Hands Only CPR 10.

Our Aim via this Fundraiser:

To teach 5,000 individuals the technique of CPR 10 and actions which can be taken in case of a death due to a cardiac arrest around them.

Who is this for?

Anybody can learn the technique of CPR 10. Individuals without a medical background as well. Students can also be trained on how CPR 10 is done.

Requirement:

The cost of training an individual on a dummy to experience the exact technique rounds up to INR 60 per person. With your support in helping us raise funds, we can reach out to more communities, schools, colleges and organisations to train them in CPR 10. With a donation of merely INR 60, you can sponsor the training of 1 individual who can go ahead and save multiple lives! We aim to raise INR 3 Lakhs to train 5000 individuals in Delhi NCR in Hands Only CPR 10. These 5000 individuals would include people from schools and colleges, corporates, special communities.

Hands Only CPR 10 Mantra:

Within 10 minutes of death, earlier the better; for at least 10 minutes, longer the better; compress the centre of the chest of the dead person continuously and effectively with a speed of 10×10 i.e. 100 per minute.

What is CPR 10?

Continuous chest compression CPR is a new technique that is easy to learn and easy to do and more effective than traditional CPR – you don’t need to be a doctor to perform this life saving technique. Before we learn this technique, it is important to know what sudden cardiac arrest is? Sudden cardiac arrest occurs when the electrical conducting system of the heart fails and the heart beats irregularly and very fast, more than 1000 times, technically called as ventricular fibrillation. The heart suddenly stops beating. The blood flow to the brain stops. As a result, the person becomes unconscious and stops normal breathing. A cardiac arrest is not the same as a heart attack, but it may be caused by a heart attack. In most cases, sudden cardiac arrest may be reversible in the first 10 minutes. The brain remains alive during this period even though the heart and respiration have stopped. This is called clinical death. Continuous compression only CPR compresses the heart between the sternum and the back bone and builds up the pressure that keeps the oxygenated blood flowing to the brain and keeps the person alive until a defibrillator becomes available or expert medical help is at hand. Therefore, if you see someone collapse from sudden cardiac arrest, acting promptly can save their life. The best way to resuscitate is to provide mouth to mouth respiration combined with chest compressions but if a sole lay rescuer is present or multiple lay rescuers are reluctant to perform mouth-to-mouth breathing, the Heart Care Foundation of India recommends doing continuous chest compression CPR. The best approach is to give electric shock by an automated external defibrillator (AED) if available. If not, then try 2 thumps in the centre of chest from a distance of 1 foot.
